This Cookie Notice applies to the use by Artis of cookies and similar technologies (collectively “cookies”) on the Artis Finance Limited websites artisfinance.com and artis.finance (“our Websites”). The purpose of this Cookie Notice is to explain what cookies are, how they work, the cookies we use and how you can control which ones we use when you visit our Websites. It also describes the purposes for which we process Personal Information (“PI”) collected through our use of cookies and your rights.
 
“Artis”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Artis Finance Limited, and each of its direct or indirect subsidiaries and its parent (the “Artis Group”). References to “you” or “your” relate to individuals who visit our Websites. It also sets outs individuals’ rights in relation to the processing of their PI by cookies.

This Cookie Notice should be read in conjunction with the Artis Privacy Notice.

This Cookie Notice does not apply to any domains that we do not own or control, or to any third-party domains where Artis advertisements are displayed.

A cookie is a small text file which is downloaded to your device or browser when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie, to develop a record of the user’s online activity. Cookies may be delivered by the website during a user’s visit, or by third parties. First party Cookies are set by Artis and belong to the website domain that appears in the browser address bar.

• Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are essential for our Websites to function and allow you to access secure areas of the Websites. These are primarily session cookies and are deleted when you leave the Website(s).

• Functional cookies
Functional cookies allow us to remember certain selections or preferences you have made for us to tailor the Website to you, for instance your username, language, the region you are in or changes you have made to web pages that you can customize. The information these cookies collect may be anonymized and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.

• Performance cookies
Measure the performance of the Website and collect information on how you use the Website e.g. the pages you visit and any errors you may receive during browsing, for us to provide you with the best possible online service.

• Marketing/Tracking/Profiling cookies
Marketing/Tracking/Profiling cookies are used to deliver content we believe to be most relevant to you. These cookies can help to measure the effectiveness of a campaign and are usually placed by authorised service providers with the website operator’s permission. Information about website usage and visits is shared with such providers as per their service agreement with the operator.

We will not set any cookies other than those that are Strictly Necessary without your consent. Example: cookie used to determine what type of devices (smartphones, tablets, computers, TVs etc.) is used by a user visiting the Website.

• Marketing/Tracking /Profiling
Example: cookie setting an anonymous visitor ID with date & time stamp to identify unique visitors.

We may also use web beacons (including conversion pixels, which are small codes located on a particular web page which are triggered when someone visits a page resulting in an increase in the conversion count.) or other technologies for similar purposes as above and we may include these on the Websites, in marketing e-mail messages or newsletters, affiliated websites – including client platforms and products, to determine whether messages have been opened and links clicked on.

Strictly necessary cookies are always active. When you first visit the Website and on subsequent visits you will have the option to choose and then amend your other cookie preferences by clicking the Manage Cookies button which will appear on each page.
