Jenny has substantial experience of working in the financial services sector. Prior to Artis, she worked at Bank Sepah International Plc, and at Gulf International and at TT International. She has also worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (now Blackrock) and AXA Investment Managers. Jenny is a qualified barrister and began her legal career at the bar of England and Wales. Jenny holds a BA (Hons) in Ancient History and Civilisation from Swansea University.

Prior to Artis, Clint served as Originator at Africa Merchant Capital, where he managed deal origination, structuring and portfolio performance. He has built up substantial experience in credit analyst and origination roles. Before starting his finance career, Clint worked in management roles within the natural resources industry, helping execute major projects. Clint holds an MBA from EADA Business School and an Advanced Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering from EIT. He has also completed Level 1 of the CFA program.

Andrew has over ten years of experience within the banking space, largely at HSBC, where he focused on commodity and structured trade finance. He has previously helped found a couple of start-up ventures in the tech space and has a particular interest in how blockchain technology is helping to bring trade finance into the 21st century.

Daniel brings ten years’ credit experience to the business. Before joining the team, Daniel spent five years as a Lead Credit Analyst for GIB UK Asset Management, with a specific focus on trade finance. Prior to this, Daniel spent four years working as a Senior Credit Analyst at Westpac Banking Corporation, where he was also a graduate earlier in his career. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Otago, New Zealand.

Marcus has 20+ years experience leading strategy for tech-enabled businesses. Prior to Artis, Marcus ran the access to finance service for UK Finance and the Federation of Small Businesses. As early contributor, he helped shape the UK’s Open Banking standard. Previously, he launched the first B2B cloud services marketplace for Arrow Electronics, a Fortune 500. Amrita joined Artis after five years at engineering firm IMI Plc, where she served in commercial roles based in both the UK and Singapore, including as a market and pricing analyst for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. She holds a Master’s with Merit in Risk Management & Financial Engineering from Imperial College London and an MEng (hons) in Civil Engineering from University College London.

Prior to joining Artis, Harry was a Portfolio Manager at RiverRock European Capital Partners. With over 10 ten years’ experience in the sector, he worked as a commodity trader with Bunge, Export Trading Group and ASR Group, before moving into private equity and debt with a particular focus on trade and real asset strategies Harry holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MA (Hons) in Modern Languages from the University of Edinburgh. He is a fluent speaker of French, Spanish and Portuguese and has extensive international experience, particular in emerging markets.

Prior to joining Artis, Guillaume worked at Morgan Stanley in London focussing on credit and liquidity risk. He has over 8 eight years of treasury, risk and financial markets experience developed through projects at investment banks and other financial institutions in UK, Nigeria, Switzerland, Canada and Belgium. Guillaume holds a master’s in Commercial Science from KU Leuven-Brussels and further pursued a master’s in Banking and Finance at Ghent University. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Before joining Artis, Alexander helped set up a successful small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) business network in Belgium, BNI West-Vlaanderen. He is currently finalising a PhD project focusing on the legal barriers to using blockchain and artificial intelligence in transactions. Before starting his academic career, he served as a research analyst at Third Bridge Group London. Alexander holds a master’s in Law & Anthropology from the London School of Economics, a Master’s of Law and a Master of Modern History from KU Leuven. He is fluent in English, Dutch, French and German.

Prior to Artis, Buket has 5 years’ experience in trading houses monitoring client relationship and processing trade finance transactions including letter of credits and supply chain financing and dealing with commodity traders from US, Middle East, and Asia. Buket holds a Master with Merit in International Business and Management from the University of Westminster. She is fluent in English and Turkish.

Prior to joining Artis, Ethan spent nearly five years as a middle officer in BNP Paribas Hong Kong’s commodity finance department, with a focus on the monitoring letter of credit (LC) and receivables transactions, as well facilitating internal and external communications. He has experience dealing with banks and commodity traders across Asia, including China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. Ethan obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Macquarie University, Sydney Australia.

David brings over forty years’ trade finance experience to the Artis team having worked in the sector for banks such as Barclays, Standard Chartered and FIMBank, alternative lenders and trading companies. He has extensive experience heading up Middle Office teams in London and Europe, specialising in risk and collateral management of both hard and soft commodities throughout the complete trade cycle from pre-shipment to receivable.

Alida has over 15 years of experience of financial and management accounting across various industries including FMCG, construction and property. Before joining Artis, Alida held senior financial positions with various recruitment firms. She holds a B.Com Management Accounting Degree from Stellenbosch University. Alida is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA,CGMA) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants since 2014.

Keith has over 14 years of corporate and commercial law experience and is a registered attorney of the South African High Court. Keith has gained experience in top tier and specialised law firms in South Africa, with a focus on M&A, corporate structuring and financial transactions. In 2012, Keith established an independent commercial and corporate law firm providing these legal services to local and international clients. Keith holds a B.Bus.Sc (Law) and LLB from the University of Cape Town as well as an MBA from the UCT Graduate School of Business.

Prior to joining Artis, Monika acted as Group Financial Controller for The Cambridge Strategy (Asset Management) Limited. She has broad experience of financial leadership in financial services, having trained in a private accountancy practice. Monika qualified as a Certified Accountant in 2013 and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She has a first-class degree in accounting and finance from Kingston University.

Tristan has over 15 years’ experience in the technology space. Prior to joining Artis, Tristan worked within schools and educational institutions across the world, applying best practices and supporting technology integration into the delivery of teaching and learning. He has welcomed and embraced the opportunity to apply his skills in the financial services space.

Grace has worked in a variety of operational and research roles across industries including medicine, healthcare, and beauty and lifestyle. Prior to joining Artis, Grace worked for a start-up business focussed on sustainability. Grace is responsible for Artis’ ESG initiatives, both in respect of Artis and Artis’ client portfolio and client pipeline. In addition to this, Grace attends to Artis’ general office administration including events and travel coordination
